I hold a Business Management Degree & Certification in Accounting from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Through my academic coursework, I have gained a solid foundation in financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and cost accounting. I have also developed a keen eye for detail, which enables me to identify discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy in financial records.

In my 12 years of experience in accountancy at previous companies, I successfully managed financial operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statement preparation. I have a track record of implementing cost-saving strategies and improving internal controls, resulting in increased efficiency and streamlined financial processes.

Proficiency in various accounting software systems is a key strength of mine. I am well-versed in utilizing industry-standard software such as Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Excel, and SAP, enabling me to analyze financial data, generate comprehensive reports, and provide valuable insights to support informed decision-making. Additionally, I am familiar with regulatory compliance requirements and have experience in ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

Apart from my technical expertise, I possess strong interpersonal and communication skills that contribute to effective collaboration and relationship-building. I am skilled in working with cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance, and explaining complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. I am also known for my ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
