as there are no central heat in the houses, and usually it's very very cold inside. Outside you may need a jacket for the day time, and some warmer clothes for the evening.. last winter was very cold, a lot of girls were wearing high boots, warm wool/leather jackets and even gloves...

I have had three Wintersin Doha now and they were all different, last year was exceedingly cold and all heaters and blamkets were sold out. It started rainging from the beginning of December.

Today on the radio the said there was a North wind blowing and it was a little cooler today.

Mostly in housing there is no heating so it may be necessary to buy a heater, however it is useful to have a few pullovers and a warm jacket for that period.

I believe last winter temperatures dropped to single figures at night on a couple of occasions, so definitely bring a jumper of some sort, for the air-conditioning if not for the outside weather!

Oh, and it rained a lot last winter, so bring a light waterproof coat.
