I find it hard to believe the population is as low as 860,000. Where did the QFC get that figure?
Interestingly, it seems the CIA website has just been updated, with the population now stated as
928,635 (July 2008 est.).

It is estimated to hit 1.5 million in the next 2-4 years.
We are not 1.5 million now, I know this because I've done a recent project at work which involved the local population.
