Nanny salaries

What is a reasonable salary to pay a full time (but not live in) nanny? I have met someone who would like the job. She is married, and lives with her husband, so would not live with us, but would work for us approx. 8 hours/day, 5 days/week. I am wondering what a fair salary would be. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Given the high costs of living now in Qatar, a monthly salary of QAR1800.00 per child, live out and plus transportation is reasonable and fair salary. This is nanny work only.

I had a middle-aged Filipina working for me last year as a nanny/house keeper -- 8 hours/day, 5 days/week -- and I paid her QR 1800/mo PLUS I provided transport.

I think, like everything, you pay what you can afford, what you think that service is worth.

Generally speaking, Filipinas earn more money because they have better English skills than most, and generally speaking, Westerners pay more (because we feel too guilty paying crap salaries like the locals usually pay their workers).

there is no fixed salary for nannies,

it depents on you and your employee.

you can pay any amount if she accept it.

My friend used to give her nanny around 1300 riyals per month .. she used to work 8 hours 5 days/week which is the same .. depends on ur offer as well..and whether she will accept or not... Good luck ..
