Hi everyone.

AJI is hiring again. I have applied yet again. Wish me luck.

Do you know if they still offer the same benefits as before . I.e housing, medical, school fees etc?

How long does the process take from applying, to getting the interview, to actually then getting to Doha?

lastly but not least what kind of salary can I expect? I have applied for a researcher/ Assistant producer job.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Azfarrizvi

I dont think it matters where youare from as long as you fit the job description. What jobs did u apply for? And where are you based?

Have you heared back from them yet?

I applied last year but near the end of the deadline. This time i have applied quite soon after thay advertised. I heared the last time round that they get bombarded with applications so dont even bother checking the ones that come in at the end!!

If you have applied before and you have not got a call yet, don't wait for a call again. If they were interested in your CV they were calling you with the first apply!

Hi Abid

Do you work for AJE?

They must get thousands of applications. I didnt realise that until I saw that they had also advertised in the Guardian paper in the UK, which is a major paper over here.

Well I would like to know roughly what kind of salary to expect so I can make a comparison with what I recieve in the UK.

Thanks

Dont worry about the salary coz aljazeera is a govt owned and fully professional institution so they will take great care of yours. All you need to do is including in shortlist of candidates called for the interview.

Wish u best of luck
