I just wanted to ask that can I buy a macbook online from the apple's USA site i.e:-www.apple.com and get it in qatar by shipping as they give a good promotion of 30$ per month?????

You can't buy one from apple but you can buy one from Amazon. I looked into it but in the end was too nervous about shipping something so expensive. We have found good deals at both Hyatt Plaza and, as stated above, at Office 1 where we got a mac book for QAR 1000 cheaper than at PC 1 (+ a mini Ipod thrown into the bargain.)
Oh yeah, forgot to say that the US Apples run on 110v power not 220v like here in Qatar so be careful and use a transformer or you will blow the new baby up!
Better off to buy here from an authorised reseller and get the warranty
Achh eye the noo! I had a cousin Macook from the Highlands near Glenvale but don't think he was for sale. My other Cousin though (she was a Macook as well y'kin?) she was a very popular young lass doon the pub for a fiver.
Ahem, anyway, try Office 1 in Salwa Road. Good advice and reasonable prices. If you can, take a student with you as they give 5% discount on top of prices for students with ID.
