Annual trip home for Nanny

We sponsor our nanny and will be providing an annual trip home for her.

When she is gone on this vacation do we continue to pay her as well?

I'm on a leave and I get paid :D - but seriously if our nanny gets 800 a month and she is leaving for 2 months, we give her the two 800's in advance :)

But many run away when they get the cash, so some transfer it into their accounts.
