An Early Thanksgiving Wish
Since the American Thanksgiving holiday is this Thursday, I wanted to get in an early wish for those folks...so here goes!!
May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.
it is difficult to find round pie tins here. I had to look everywhere a couple of years ago. My best bet would be to go to Tavola and see if they have one there. Tavola has a branch in City center--but the royal plaza branch is bigger and may be easier to get to this week due to the completely insane construction around CC. Avoid that place til the road in front is done!
When you go to Carrefour to buy your Turkey watch out for the drunken man.. He is still looking for single women with birds in their trolley..lol

actually the first Thanksgiving was to thank the Indians for helping the first settlers to make it through the tough year.
Hey did you know that Benjamin Franklin wanted to make the turkey the national bird of the US? For some reason the Bald Eagle won out...Just think..we could all be eating eagle for Thanksgiving...hmm..yuck, no thanks..

Tell you..I've been so busy trying to gather up enough of all the things to attempt to make a "normal" Thanksgiving dinner it can drive you nuts!!! Looks like my pumpkin pie might end up square this year as I can't find a round pie pan!!
