Hi. Does anyone have recent experience on the requirements for legalisation of foreign documents?
I need a new police report from my country of origin.
I know Qatar is not a member of the Hague Convention, but is an Apostille enough for a European document in a situation where there is no Qatar embassy in my country & no embassy of ours in Qatar?

I don't really have the time to send any papers for a round-the-world trip.

Apostille is not accepted in Qatar. If you don't have Qatari embassy in your country, you need to send to the embassy nearest to your country.

Person. You have to find the nearest Embassy for you country in this region or the Embassy who is acting on behalf of your country.. That's what every one does here. The Canadians have to sent every thing to Kuwait for example..
