freebies?
a weird thing happened to me today. as i was going about my work,a woman clad in black(guess?) sat infront of me asking for a design sketch.looking at her material,i immediately designed 2 to 3 sketches for her approval.
anyways,when we didnt agree on the price of the labor+stitching,blatantly she demanded in arabic "i want those sketches for free!!!"
mustering my inner strength,and i was really having a bad day,i immediately answered her this "try going to a grocery,get all the stuff you need and ask the cashier in line that you want ALL of it for free."
she left huffing and puffing.i just want to know how or why these people always try to TAKE or GET things/services for FREE?
is it chronic,congenital or cultural?
ohhh,and btw,i need your opinion-for free!

It's the same all over the Middle East where bargaining is a high art form. Just smile and clutch your heart, saying that you couldn't possibly let these go for less than XX QR.
