Can someone tell me , why insurance companies are not allowing "Agency Repair" (repair of car with dealer) from second year onwards..? Insurance told me, "it is Qatar law"...is it true..or....??

I feel someone from authority level should look into this and issue a “white-paper” to make the car-insurance matter more clear and transparent. Now-a-days, Qatar market is being opened up for quite a new sort of instruments in insurance industry. Hence, it will be very ideal to start with now, for good of society at large…..
I don't know if it's law. Probly just an insurance gimmick. Insurance companies here also have some rules about getting original manufacturer replacement parts versus aftermarket ones. Just check your policy on all of those points.
That means, even though i do have a full insurance pack from insurance company, i do need to pay the difference. Is it a Qatar Law requirement or ...simply insurance companies work-around..?.....by clauses in policy document..?????

You can have it repaired with Agency, but You have to pay difference between Agency and Non Agency price
