Dish TV, Cable TV, Tatasky!?

I am new to Doha and will soon be moving to a standalone villa in Al Waab. I am confused about how to get cable telvision into my place. Need a motley of Indian and international channels. I gather that I need to install multiple dishes. Some postings on QL seem to indicate I need a mechanic to keep tuning the Tatasky...how does this whole process work?

Well if mozaic suits ur television needs then go for it.

But for most the channels are woefully inadequete.

Hence you should get a tata sky or any other DTH subscription and bring the set top box to qatar.

I have heard some rumors of police confisicating it but as such i dont think any qatari law exists to prevent the imports.

Otherwise you can doa search in qatarliving for people with a spare set top box and get it.

The installation must be done by a professional so try getting someone for that
