Having diabetes won't stop your dream of getting here in Qatar, As long as your sugar is controlled nothing to worry since remedical exam before getting your Qatar I.D isn't that strict on Sugar problems. they are primarily focused on communicable diseases eg. (HEPA B, HIV, etc) Just make way to pass the medical exam in PH as they are very strict in Fasting blood sugar test, once you passed, you are good to go. it's Ok to bring maintenance medications here as long as you have the prescription made by your doctor.
Make way to get your HAMAD HEALTH CARD as fast as you can for you to save much on maintenance medications. Health care facilities here are many ways better...
YES...but don't go for a medical examination in Manila...you will waste all your money and time. I have been diagnosed having a high sugar as MY FBS reached 112...I forgot the name of medical clinic but it was in Manila...opposite PWU just near in PGH UP. It was a nightmare indeed, they asked me to proceed with another FBS and OGGT from one Public Clinic opposite the NBI...I wasted there at least 3 days. Then after i got the result, they asked me to be checked by endocrinology...I wasted my time waiting for one week before i got the result. In my dismay, with FBS at 112 they stamped in my medical report 'NOT FIT TO WORK"...which is too ridiculous!...that is how medical report goes in Philippines....but I heard Qatar Immigration Department does not require anymore this kind of stupid medical examination.
