we planned to go there together, how hard would it be for me to get a job in Qatar? what would be the difference if we were married? How hard would be life there for me being just his girlfriend?

It will be easier for you if you come married; otherwise there is no guarantee that you can find a job here/get employment.

That said, there are jobs around here, so I feel confident you could find something here if you came. But Qatar, being an Islamic country, is kind of touchy (read: intolerant) about unmarried people living together, etc. While they generally used to leave westerners to do their own thing, recently they've been cracking down on stuff so I would recommend that you guys come in together as a married couple if you want to join him here.

majazmin, first of all why the triple posting?? There is no need to repeat the post.

Second if you want to come with him you must marry before coming in and he has to inform that to the company offering him the job so the proper actions can be taken for paperwork and related visa for "wife".

Finding a job will depend on your skills, expertise and overall in the market availability for a suitable position.
