hi

i can give u a few tips went there for my honeymoon this year in june

1. Get a Map - get a look at the place where your hotel is. we stayed at the roma citta hotel ...nice 4 star place

2. Know what u want to see - if u go to trip advisor there are a list of popular places to visit. Assuming u are going for the history READ BEFORE U GO

3. Travel - if u are going to be in rome for 3 days, get the 3 day pass for 11 something, its a fabulous system you can travel with train bus n tram with same ticket. dont have to look at taxi at all!

4. Reset your alarm - You will probably need to start at 7:30 in the morning so u can do justice to the days u are there most places are open from 8 - 4 n ALL shops close by 7 ish

5. Food - budget for food every place sells pizzas in this small restaurants snacks it better to snack at places rather than sitting down for 2 hours for a meal IMPORTANT they are big on sparkling waste, so be prepared to buy some regular water at local stores.

i think this is good info to start... need more?

You can't go to Rome without going to Vatican City.
