And they should address the issue before planning the next big event in Doha. These roads are in total traffic chaos during holidays.
CC parking was huge when it was built. but the population grew exponentially. Doha was built for a total population of 500,000 not 1,900,000...
the lack of planning and vision in this country is just astounding, the cost to build a parking building is nominal and we all know the wealth of Qatar, no excuses!!
Once I spent almost 45 min. looking for a parking in City Center, not finding one have to come back.
Also missed the recently concluded tennis finals between Serena and Venus being stuck in the traffic around Oryx roundabout...

try dafna near Ashghal and Kahramaa towers during working hours, where most ministries are located too. it's the traffic police mine of violations :)

between now and 2022, there'll be a lot of big plans coming too!
'They' wanted to have each of their own vehicles and it's 'their' common area of business and leisure. It doesn't matter whether there's a big event in that area or not, as long as 'their' business continues to run properly and freely.
And 'they' are used to these type of 'parking shortage', don't worry.
