I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW NOW HOW MANY MONTHS THE NORMAL DEPOSIT TO GIVE TO THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE? IS IT ONE MONTH DOWN PAYMENT OR TWO MONTHS?

If they don't ask for post dated cheques that's their problem,not yours.Legally the maximum deposit they can ask as a renter is no more than 2 X the monthly rent.

Usually it's one months rent as a deposit,but the renter has legally the right to ask for two months.Maximum is two though.Cheers!!
one month is enough coz u have post dated check, right!
