1) alright she's someone im interested in. so i don't wanna frighten her by asking her for her non-PO box, residential address. think she'll freak out.

2) im not some slick gym guy trying to find directions (huh???). i basically just set up this acct to ask the qn!!

My instincts tell me you are the same Malaysian guy who was trying to find out if there are gyms at the Qatar Airways accomodations. Now you want directions to get there. I dont think so, I'll be sure to alert the security to any visitors with gym bags.. Not as slick as you thought...

1) Can any steward/stewardess (or ex) verify if this is really the accomodation area for you guys? Don't wanna be sending to wrong address.

2) Also, why did she pass me her PO box address not the above one - the above has no PO box? Is it cuz I shouldn't or can't be sending to this one?

But shouldn't be the case cuz when she orders KFC, she should be getting them to send to this above add right?

Bit strange your "girlfriend" only gave you her po box number yet her alledged "full" address is on FB for her friends to see??? Dont want to put the dampners on it but you may wanna ask why first before you waste money on flowers!!

The post box number is useless for a door delivery

the postal service here don't offer door delivery, you collect post from the post office or someone does it for you on your behalf

that's not to say door delivery is not possible

Like you seem to be aware, food delivery services and the occasional courier company offers door delivery

Ideally, you need to know the street name and the building/house no.

Since your wife works for QA and they have very few accommodations, that might help

It would also help if you know a landmark

for instance I know that there is a Qatar Airways acco in Al Sadd close to The Centrepoint (mentioning that in the address would really help)

you also ought to know that you are expected to provide a cell/phone number if you send anything by courier

They would probably call her up to check the address and her availability before the delivery...

You should consider using an accomplice, probably some friend of hers... send the courier to her and then get her to set it up for you...

by the way im in Malaysia and she's in Doha! sorry if i din't make this clear.
