Just go to the profile of the person you want to ad, by clicking on the user name. Then go all the way down in the profile to the section where it says
Add XXXXXXXX to my buddylist (click on it)
Once done that it will ask you the following
Add user XXXXXXXX to your buddylist?
Add Cancel
Click on the "ADD" button and a notification will be sent to the user...once that user gets the notification is up to him/her to approve the buddylist request.
Click on the username of whoever you want to add as a buddy, their profile page will be displayed. At the last of the information, there will be " add to my buddy request" option. However, the person on the other side has to accept the request.
click on the member's username.. you will see the profile, at the bottom of the profile you will see add blah blah to your buddy list. click that and request on your behalf will be sent to the member to add you as his/her buddy. now its up to that member to accept or reject your request.
