Yesterday was my first day in the college to continue my studies, so today let's learn the Arabic name for the educational places.

Bayt = House
Hadana = Nursery school
Madrasa = School
Kolleya = College
Jame'a = University
Ma'had = Institute

Just1s: Sabah al-noor is correct (for sabah al-khair)

Masa al-noor (for Masa al-khair)

Ahlan (for Marhaba)

Wa alaekom assalam (for "salaam" and for "Assalamo alaekom")

colors - Alwaan

Abyad - White

Aswad - Black

Akhdar - Green

Ahmar - Red

Asfar - Yellow

Azraq - Blue

But what is the related response in Arabic?

Sabah Al-Khair = Good morning = Sabah Al-noor (it is correct?)

What about the others, what is the related response?

Masa Al-Khair = Good afternoon/evening

Marhaba = Hello

Ahlan = Welcome

Salaam = greeting

FS: in fact when i came to qatar 6 years ago, I noticed that many common words are there between Hindi and Arabic so i started to learn hindi and now i can understand and speak the basic hindi very well

Many words are very similar to Hindi...still we are not learning it fast..how sad..:(

Shop in Hindi is Dukkan

Chair in hindi is Kursy

I might missed some of the words since you started this topic, some people might get mad at me if I ask these words again.

Can you possibly reiterate me the Basic greetings in Arabic/ frequently use.

such as:

Good Morning, Afternoon etc ...

If arab people greet me what is the appropriate answer like Marhaba ...... and more

the actual meaning for "Jameeya" is association but here some arabs calls some supermarkets "Jameeya" (especially Al Meera)
