CID Clearance
Hi All,
I am new to this forum and have a question that i know has been answered a lot here but the information is still vague. I got a job for I.T in Qatar Airways, and have submitted by docs to the CID for clearance on the 31st July 2011. Could any one help with the below :
1. How long it takes now for the clearance, the lady in the cid office said that some one from Qatar airways will come to collect after 10 days but on checking with qatar airways they said that they have not got any thing as of now.
2. Is it true that the cid can reject if they feel the post can be given to a qatari ?
3. I am under family sponsor, if God Forbids my clearance is rejected what is my next step.

Optimun waiting time is 2 weeks for the release of the CID clearance
Your would be company will get it from CiD. Normally it will take 10 days or more to get the result. The company can also re apply if and when it is rejected. However, in our experience, even if reapplied, still it was rejected (unless the company can provide good justification, i pressume).
1- normally it s 10 days but as it s ramadan, it can take more time.
2- yes they can reject it if they feel that this position can be taken by a qatari.
3- if it s rejected, go and look for another job :)
