Actual profile not mentioned in Job Contract

Hi. My brother was recruited as a Manager in a Contracting firm here. But since they did not have the Manager Visa, told him they will recruit him on a Salesman Visa. Now that, they have given the Job contract, nowhere it has mentioned about his actual profile. Is this normal in Qatar? If yes, then how can he show his experience when joining in an another firm in future.
Every company can get Manager Visa. What do you mean they didn't have one?!
Also, Does he have anyone that works under him? Can he hire or fire people? If not, then manager he is not.
You need to be worried about right now, than future companies. And why do you think that you will be applying in different companies in Qatar itself?
If the contract mentions sales person, you have been taken for a ride and are now stuck here. Then the main issue is the actual work you willbe doing here. There's a big difference between being called a manager and a salesperson and the work that you will be required to do.
What happens when you want to give references of your earlier job profile?
Well, he was told about the package and other allowance which is the same what was agreed. It is all because the company did not have the Manager Visa. Can the company recruit a person on a salesman Visa and make the contract letter as Manager???
Or, Since the contract mentions the position of Salesman, can an appointment letter from the company stating the position of a manager be valid as a proof in the future companies he intend to apply in Qatar or back home???

They give him Salesman title because this way they can own his passport so that he can never leave without getting a permission.
So basically, he will be doing the job of a manager while getting paid and treated like a salesman.
The Law does not protect the dumb
profession on the visa is ok. Becoz immigration give approval for some visa later will be used for different personnels. But if the employment offer letter have a different designation don't trust the company...he have to perform from teaboy to manager.
Never sign a contract if it doesn't specifically state all that is promised, title, salary, allowances etc. Does his contract state that his position is sales person, then you have a big problem.
This is normal,
even there is a funny story , some one went to Dubai zoo, and they saw their one monkey and lion , and noticed monkey is eating meat, and lion eating the peanuts. they approach to lion and ask Mr.lion you are a king of the jungle and your eating peanuts and monkey is having meat, the lion is replied what do I have come here in monkey visa.
It was a crooked deal to begin with. He shouldn't have accepted the offer in the first place.
Nevertheless if he gets salaryand perks of a MANAGER.........
