family residence visa - pls advise

hi all

i applied for my wife's residence visa with the immigration deptt one week back....i submitted all the docs incl 6 months bank statement, marriage cert, edu cert, etc (all attestations done) and may salary is above 10k per month....lady at the counter also returned some of the docs (my passport copy, rp page, etc) saying she doesnt need them....application status on moi website still says under process....i want to know how much time should i wait for before going to them again....

hi,

u can go and meet the captain and show him the receipt... they will update you if some more documents are required or not.... i also faced the same situation and met catain and got my spouse rp visa in 2 days after re-submitting bank statement.....

You have to wait more then 1 week to 10 days ...keep on checking the status on moi page.
