Fathima, Your post reminded me of a comic character in which an old witch having a high nose and big ugly teeth comes fying in from nowhere with a broom tucked between her legs..:)
I used to have a fear of getting married. My auntie used to poke me in the back at every family wedding and say "your next, your next" I used to hate it. She stopped though when I did the same to her at a funeral we were both attending.
In that case my funniest fears are/was of cobweb brooms. You know the old fashioned kind. With a wooden long long stick and round fluffy black/brown head. I was petrified of them from childhood cos my dear auntie thought it was a good way of disciplining me...scaring me off with the broom claiming it will come get me!!
My husband claims I am constantly afraid of something. I manage to curb them only by praying to God to protect me from what I fear, and then trying to forget them.
