Visit Visa to Work Visa

I want to know about the procedures to change visit visa to work visa after getting job. Will the sponser itself will do or the person has to do it. I have heard that the person has to travel to another country n come back again in order to change the visa...is it true?? I really need ur help guys :(

But the NOC from the sponsor of visit means if i call my wife here through visit visa on my sponsorship means i need to provide NOC to exchange the visa???
As per my knowledge, it is possible to change to work visa and there is some official charges for this.
Other wise you wnat exit the country and back to qatar with new visa, which is your employer provide to u. This possible by Bahrain air exit from doha to Bahrain and back to Doha same day or next flight.
But for this you need an NOC from the sponsor, who is provide the visit visa.
