LAID OFF, will he be banned?
By chasseynam •
My husband got laid off on his 3rd month, the company got issues with their projects and so they need to lay off people. My husband, being on probation, was one of the first ones to go...Please advice, is he banned in Qatar? Can he still find work? Is he still allowed to work in Qatar? Please help us...Thank you
"Demand" isnt on the agenda here irrespective of circumstance. As I said at the top of the the threads - husband needs to employ some reasoned thinking and dialogue with his former employer to secure a prolonged period in Qatar under their sponsorship and importantly the NOC to enable his to move seamlessly into alternative employment - given the circumstances that the OP outlines, it "shouldnt" be a problem - however, failure to secure one or both of these guarantees is a Qatar showstopper.
Ah iexplore, he can't demand an NOC, his employer has to grant him one out of his kindnest. The law does not recognise if its not his fault or not.
let him find a new job and demand for noc, it isn't his fault that the project is not doing well. cases like this, he has the right for the noc.
He can get NOC because still in probationaru period.he wont get any banned.cheers
NOC is required , as said , he would need to do some smart talking to get his NOC from his previous employers, that will permit him to look out for another job here in QATAR ..
ALL the best , hope every thing goes well ....
He still needs a NOC so request that and se if they can keep his RP open so he can search for another job.
Your husband has some smart talking to do - as far as I see it, he needs 2 things from his (now) former employee;-
1. Confirmation of how long they are going to sponsor him in Qatar and
2. An NOC (No Objection Certificate) allowing him to search for and take up employment with another company.
As his laying off is essentially nothing to do with him, the company ought to be reasonable in this regard.
i think no.. idk even how to explain.
