Best Buddies Qatar prepares events for members

Best Buddies Qatar, a non-profitable government organisation, which aims to enhance life of people with intellectual challenges has scheduled slew of events for its members across the country.

Annually Best Buddies Qatar celebrates March with numerous activities for its members. It is an international occasion in 60 countries where Best Buddies International exercises its vision and mission. Best Buddies Qatar’s various events are designed for over 1000 members of different age groups.

One of the main objectives is to involve more governmental and private sector institutions to support the mission of ending up social isolation of people with intellectual challenges. The organisation has prepared more than 32 workshops related to culture, art, theatre, sports, education, health improvement, cuisine and many other various fields of social interests.

One of such events was held on Wednesday. A yoga class, for mind and physical relaxation, maintained by head and hands massage at Six Senses and Spa in Sharq Village hotel.

This event was prepared for 30 female Shafallah Center students and a similler event will be held next week for 20 male students.
