I have heard the sponsorship law is changing. In future a wife will not be entitled to sponsor her husband. Can anyone confirm this?

Qatari govt allowed this year that working women can sponsor their immediate family and now you have fear that take it back... I don't think so...
...not spreading a rumour. A female friend who sponsors her husband, told me that her husband had been advised through his employer, that he would have to go onto his employer's sponsorship, because as from next year he would not be allowed sponsorship through his wife.
I think it sounds like nonsense but this is the 2nd time I have heard a similar story. As I am sponsored by my wife I am keen to find out the facts.

This was recently changed to allow wife to sponsor husband!!.
