Hi friends...I am super confused regarding my new car insurance. the agent in the showroom said that the insurance would be from QIC and if its my mistake that i hit someone or i put scratch on my car...i will have to pay qr 1000 to claim it...how does it go with you guys ??

full party insurance is almost 2200qr and again for every small problem i have to pay qr1000...does it look practical ? atleast not to me :(...

please suggest is this the rule or i can save myself by using some other policy or insurance company.

QIC's rates tend to be very high. Also, when you read the fine print, their terms and conditions leave you highly exposed.

Try AXA. In my opinion, the customer service is much better (non-existant at QIC) and their rates are lower. Their terms and conditions, deductable, agency repairs, etc. are much more reasonable than QIC.

this is the rule but QR 1000 is quite high

there is another type of insurance also where you dont have to pay but you will pay more premmium. ask for that one.
