Ducati, Suzuki, Honda, Kawazaki, Yamaha Motorcycles...What do you recommend?
I am planning to buy a motorcycle and I would appreciate any input from experts on the matter or a person who had experience with any of these brands with regards to:
- performance & handling
- frequency of maintenance required
- adequacy of maintenance service by the dealer
- average periodic maintenance service cost
- availability of spare parts at the dealer
- resale value
I am highly interested in the Ducati 848 evo 2012 so I would appreacite a more detailed advice on this motorbike.
Thank you.
Hi SHH,
I'm no better than you are in finding answers for these basic questions, what bike, where to buy, how much, and where to ride? I've topped up with how to come back (first timer again), I found this site quite interesting, even though it is a notch above empty, but has some valuable information (www.q-bike.com) I believe it was set up and maintained by someone who is well versed with the sport.
Regards
I have no problem with the price.
The ducati 848evo is priced at QR68,500 at Al Fardan Motorcycles.
Thank you adskla123 for your input.
Actually I am a bigenner and this will be my first bike ever.
what is the price range u want?
How many years have you been riding?
If the answer is zero then my advice is to start off on a normal bike and not a sportbike.
Bikes are very diffrent from cars, if you make a mistake on a bike, thats it. There are no second chances. Thats why anyone can drive a car but a bike takes skill.
Second, qatars roads and traffic are not meant for bikes. Ive had bikes here for many years and I wouldnt recommend anyone to buy one here. The roads are just soo bad. Also because qatar is so small, having a powerful bike on these roads is like having a pitbull in an apartment. THere is nowhere you can use them to their full potential.
