I left qatar last month for an emergency leave, due to personal problem I have decided not to comeback in QATAR anymore and file my resignation.

Now my concern was I have Left park my 2 year CAR (under LOAN) in my rented apartment in Mansoura area, how will I tell the BANK ABOUT THIS? and I wish to continue paying the Bank for my Loan even though I am here now in the PHILIPPINES.

thanks.

As you are from the Philippines you will have had many friends here from your country. Why don't you ask one of them to sell the car for you to pay back the car loan for you. Iti s definately better than beng black listed and I am sure it will relieve you of your troubles.

If you willing to pay the amount, you will come back and pay here, the guarantor will pay if not, tell the bank and ask them what to do. For me, this is my suggestion to everybody, your credit you pay! What ever reason you have, they will look after you and expect the worst until you pay the very cents....

The car is not yet yours. It is still owned by the bank. Just call the bank and tell them about your problem, probably they will get the car back. Just ask one of your friend to send back the car to the bank. Then it would be their problem how to dispose it or sell it.

A colleague borrowed QR200,000 from a bank then ran from the country. He was working for our reputable company so the company was happy to lend him the money. He's now back in his home country with all his money.

Morale of the story: move quickly and make sure the bank understands that you want to pay if off or arrange someone else to pay it off!

this is dicey....

since they have a law that a company cant fire someone in absenteeism...'I' think similarly u cant resign in absenteeism...i mite be wrong...better to check with someone in the HR line before calling the bank...

but if u have some settlement like PF or Gratuity then the company could direct that towards ur loan payment....

and secondly..do u have a guarantor?

This happened with other people so it is not the first time. The bank will never forget but will sure appreciate your intension to settle your loan. The best way to do it is to make an authourisation for somebody you trust so he can sell the car and transfer the loan. This is better than waiting till the bank starts a case and add all costs.

which car do you have? I might be of interest to continue it. lolz but kidding aside do you have anyone here in qatar to fix it? well just make sure you dont have any loans on them or else it would look like run from the bank.
