New car Tire

Hello I bought brand new Pajero car on year 2010, just checked now the tire car is having is of year 2008 :)will it be like this for all new cars we buy? and mechanic said that tire needs to be changed on every 4 years
pls advise..
my car is driven only 70k km never went offroad, tire looks good but its on whn i took to woqud they advised tht its old and need to change soon
The year of manufacture of car tires should not be of much importance. In fact I was surprised you even noticed this. The important thing is the condition of tires. If the tires have worn out they must be replaced. It all depends on how many kilometers the vehicle has done. I think what the mechanic has said is not correct.
