Any views on the cars mentioned above to make decision....

On the basis of technical aspects and prices?

I am a big fan of Toyotas but RAV4 is simply a shoddy tin can. Poor build. CRV is good (tough I am not a big fan of Honda's rip off spare prices)

LR2 is very similar spec to Vitara but is overpriced and British, therefore unreliable ;o)

Out of those i go RAV4 for build quality alone, but I'd also throw in the Suzuki Grand Vitara - good spec, very good build, acceleration and handling, very capable off road too. Had one for 3 years and never any trouble

Consider Mitsubishi Outlander!

I've compared CRV and Outlander, both are the full options type. Some options such as xenon lamps, leather seats, digital AC, are about the same.

But surprisingly, with many more options available in Outlander, you can still save about USD 1500 (compared to CRV's price):

- 3.0 with 220 bhp (CRV only has 2.4 with 166bhp)

- rain sensor

- 18" alloys (CRV only has 17")

- 6A transmission with paddle shift (CRV only has 5, without paddle shift)

- DVD player

- Roof rack

- 650 watt Rockford Fosgate stereo with 10" subwoofer!

- FAST key

- Flap fold tail gate

many more....!!!

I just decided to buy it yesterday.

I have a 2007 CRV and I love it. not to mention the best and quick after sales service (regular change oil is lessthan 30 mins only).

It depends for what you will be using your car for. Both are good but I like 4x4's.

Fuel Ecxonomy & power is one factor to decide CRV is 2.7 litre, Rav4 2.4 litre Qashqai 2 Litre...Mine suggestion CRV ...CRV has good market acceptablity and a decent power & resale.Petrol is cheap here not an issue.... Now a days good offer is also available at Honda S/Room before month end.
