Hi friends,

My Nissan sunny 2011 model radiator fans both are running at high speed immediately after start the engine .This condition was started after radiator & fans replacement due to accident. Mechanic who repalced the parts and denting job can not able to identify the problem. i have taken to nissan dealer.After check up they simply recommend to replace the ENGINE CONTROL MODULE(ECM) due to short circuit which cost QAR 7500+ QAR 2000.But i refused to replace and brought back my car.

My doubt is if ECM short circuit ,will the car run without any other problems. I am not facing any other problem apart from this fan issue.

Please help me to solve this issue.

I guess it is possibly the thermostat that is not working. Have it checked by a good car electrician.

Running the fans cannot harm the engine it just stays a little cooler than normal. Avoid high rpm, that's all. And check for an electronic module that sends information to the ECM. Follow the cables from the fans to see where they are going.

I doubt whether its the ECM.. it's probably the thermostat switch linked to the fans..
