QIC sucks, Which insurance company is good?

Qatar Insurance Company is avoiding insuring 3rd party insurance by refusing to insure if the client doesn't come before 7AM, when they actually only open at 7AM. They want us to come very early and wait outside till they open, and then only accept the first 100 clients!!!

Their policy is take as much money as we can, and don't fix nor pay back any of it...No wounder they are one of the strongest insurance companies in the Doha Stuck Market.

But which insurance company insures and pays claims properly? and with no runarounds?

There is no such thing like a good insurance co., specially in this qantry.

The opening statement in the question is an absolute perennial universal ultimate truth.

As I see no answer has been added after june 7th, hear these news from Queue-I-See, nothing better than none.

For the normal suffering people like us, they had the idea to move the office for payment of compulsory insurance to....hold on-weak hearted people should not read further please....the end of industrial area, on the off-road No 43 (the last before desert is No 47). Try to find a map showing that.

After one glorious hour of searching, could find the location of the wreck-office (the place where people can endlessly cry when they wrecked their cars). This place is beyond my imagination, and I believe anyone's else as well. When I got there it was 10 AM, and I was stunned to talk to a person who arrived before 5.

But it's my duty to put the good part of the news: it's not on the Moon, and it's still in Qatar.

There are only two things left to save my soul: sell my car to myself or, better, hit the road jack.

I have just transferred my QIC insurance to Libano - Suisse INSURANCE CO. It was a big relief for me.

.

I would ask all THIRD PARTY insureres that if they are fed up from their current INSURANCE COMPANY then Libano - Suisse is the right company to get insured.

.

An insurer can pay its yearly premium from 7am - 4:30pm in Libano - Suisse

.

Libano - Suisse is located on 'C' ring road.

You're very right. Same thing happened with me as i had to visit them 2 times to get my insurance renewed but i got shocked when the staff told me that you must come before 6 or even 5:30 am, get a token number as QIC alots only 100 numbers. So if one misses it, he/she has to come again in the morning and follow the process again.

.

WTH & WTFFFFFFFFFFF???? What kind of bu**shi* service is this.

Guys, i have just confirmed from DOHA INSURANCE COMPANY that nowadays no insurance company will accept other insurance company's policy holder. Customer must continue with the same damn company no matter what is the condition. VERY SAD!!!!!!!!!!!

You must understand that the Government sets the rates for third party liability coverage at an amount which is much too low. The law also requires the insurance company to issue a policy to anyone who asks. Since they lose money on every policy, is it surprising that they do not want your business? They do make money on full coverage, but look at how much more that costs: 4% to 6% of the vehicle value, versus only QAR 300 or so for third party. When the government raises the rates to the point that the insurance company can make a profit on the policy, they will start making it easy for you to obtain coverage.

I remember, 3 years ago QIC rejected my application for insurance and asked me to change the company as they were not intersted. Just few months after that Qatar Government passed a law which forced all Insurance companies to grant insurance.

Just after this, the companies started playing with there customers by restricting the number to 100 clients per day for third party insurance. It's same rule in QIC, QGI and many others.

One place where I found it very comfortable was with "LIBANO SUISSE S A L INSURANCE COMPANY", they lady at front desk is really kind and helps you with what you need.

You can reach them at Telephone: +974 4422151

I agree my friend, it is the worst insurance company in the world. I have made a claim more than 3 months ago and to this date not a phone call, i collected the car myself and fixed it my self. They haven't even bothered to contact me. I am seeking legal advice.
