Registering a car with only a photocopy of the owners id.

I bought a car before the summer and didn't have time to register it in my name. The person I bought it from has now returned home abroad. I have filled in the form and she has signed it but I only have a photocopy of her ID card. Will it be a problem to register the car in my name? Also can I register the car in our local police station in Al Khor? Any help appreciated.

To avoid all that, better u pay Qr 300 to a car showroom and they will do it for u. U dont hav to provide them original ID card of the owner.

Easy way to get it done.. By da way, I do it that way.

Hope it helps

Yes, u can register it in Al Khor Police station. For that u need original ID card of the owner. Also , owner must be present at the time of registration otherwise u hav to make some excuse.... Why he/she is absent?
