Hang on! I just remember after police report you have to go to your garage and ask for canvas of the damage before going to the insurance company. if the insurance agreed then you can go to your car dealers unless the car is over a year old then they will suggest you to their own garage to have it fixed.

same thing happenned to me a month ago...

Just bring the paper to your insurance. They will then send you to a garage of their choice. You will have to pay the excess, either at the insurance office or at the garage itself... it's up to you. If your car is older than a year, you need to pay 20% for original parts, (or 30% for more than 3 years, etc...)...coz now they also give fake parts! If replaced with "fake" parts, you won't have anything to pay. Most of the time they'll give you originals! It doesn't take that long, max 2 days.

Hope that will help...

yes! take that paper to your insurance company and they will keep the copy and send you to take the other copy to the garage, depends if your car is less than a year old they will pay for full charge from your car's original garage otherwise, they will send you to the garage they recommend to do the repair which is more probably Daihatsu garage. If your car is more than a year old you probabaly have to pay like 20% and they will send you to go for a canvas and then you have to go back to their office for aproval After the aproval then you have to bring the police report and the insurance paper to the garage and they will give you a schedule. too much hassle. :(

you should bring that piece of paper given to you by the police to your insurance company and they will give you further instructions as to where and how you could bring your car for repair. make sure that you bring your insurance contract as well as copies of your car registration and driving license just in case they ask.
