Reset the Peugeot 307 ECU Modul

Hi,

I hav e Peugeot 307 model 2005, few days back it was break down while I'm driving it from Al Khor going to Doha, and my mechanic found that my ECU was burnt, so whe went to the dealer and they said that part is not in the stock and it cost +/- QR.3500.

So I try to find the used ECU and we found it but it is not working in my car, and I asked the dealer they said they can not re-program it and they advice me to buy new one.

My question is does anybody knows any garage or mechanic who can reset the ECU modul for my Peugeot 307 ???

This might be possible but the dealer will never help you in this regards. As they want you to buy new parts from them itself not from scrap.
