Transfer car number plate

Thanks Avam. Is it possible to get a non-special number registered as mumayyez?

The other way if trust your new buyer, transfer your car in his name and retransfer in your name after plate change.What ever you do Will not reduce the charges you pay to murrur/traffic dept.

Is your car reg #private ,i.e.came with the car or is it mumayyez i.e special and registered in your name?

If mumayyez can be transferred directly to the new owners' name on paper only.You have to obtain new number from traffic department (old murrur,madina khalifa) for your now numberless car,fees qr 300.Transfer fees around 2 or 3 hundred.

For normal non-special # both cars should be in your name,if it is not,get it transferred to your name,again 300qr for name transfer,and 200 or 300 per car for plate transfer.Again 300qr for transfering back the car to the new buyers name. Expect around 1200 qr for this process for non special numbers.Please note that both cars have to be present at the same time in number plate section.
