Could a ban on Danish goods in Qatar mean that there will not be any bacon?

I see how it is, you've started befriending vasquez more now after you've met me, so when they all get thrown out you could take over easily.

That's like the perfect crime! lol~

as vignale said, do we have to ban gas coz maersk is producing it?

ofcourse we are not going to stop filling gas but, we have the right to hope that the government breaks these contracts with mearsk and try to give the oil work in qatar to other international companies, coz i am sure there r many..

i also agree with u ringohiqups in that danish are not all bad because of one guy but, does that mean we should stay calm about it and not to show the danish that we are not happy with these cartoons?! while the danish people/government are saying that its their right to say whatever they want in their journals, even if this freedom of speech is hurting other people of other religions?!

since when was freedom is to insult people religions?

and this german minister is inviting all the europian magazines to publish the cartoons just to show us that there is a freedom of journalism!!!

is this how u show people that u have freedom and u live in democracy?

rather than stoping this journals from hurting muslims feelings around the world they are encouraging this insult...

so why dont we at least ban these products?

even if we know that banning will not solve the problem..

and even if we know that there are good danes...

we just want to reflect our anger and show the whole world that we r mad and this is a RED LINE u shouldnt have crossed..

to see what response it brought.

Mr Paul, yes it's already banned. I was aware of that but there are ways and means.

sajjadalikhan. I am not upset about Danish products. I live in Turkey and can buy pork from our local pork shop.

BTW Alexa is correct, there is no booze permit in Saudi (or even Kuwait). Cold tea can be obtained but is usually drunk outside. There is always siddiqi.

Islam is the only true religion. Therefore, the rules of Islam are the best (as practised by Saudi Arabia)  and the whole world, muslim and non muslim should follow the rules of Islam.

See how that works?

Boycotting all Danish goods is a good thing. After all. the only things Danes produce (apart from cartoons) is bacon and beer. Both are haram anyway.

A better and fairer solution would be to ban Danes altoghether. My solution is to deport all Danes to Denmark (wherever that is) and just leave them there. They can spend their time drawing cartoons and eating bacon and drinking beer in the comfort of their tiny communist country.
