It is impossible for you to import your used LHD vehicles to India for PERMANENT use. Even if you want to import a used RHD car to India, you are supposed to pay The Govt. of India about 140% of the actual cost of your car or if you want to import a brand new RHD car to India, you are supposed to pay about 107% of the actual cost.

Suppose if you have a used RHD 2008 Toyota Prado worth about 15LA INR, you should pay 21LA INR as import tax + octroi charges + shipping + insurance = 15+21+9 = 45 to 50LA INR will be your landing cost. See for that money you can buy a brand new Range Rover Evoque Pure variant back in India :)

Suppose if you have a brand new RHD Toyota Prado worth about 18LA INR, you should pay 20LA INR as import tax + octroi charges + shipping + insurance = 18+20+8 = 45 to 50LA INR will be your landing cost.

But at the same time lot of Keralites expats used to get import their LHD cars from Arabian Gulf through a process called """CARNET""". You can import your any used LHD/RHD car through this channel without paying a single penny as tax. They will charge you only shipping cost. Hope you may know now why Range Rovers, Land Cruisers & Hummers are very common in KL than anywhere else in entire India. But the thing is YOU SHOULD BRING BACK YOUR CAR TO YOUR RESIDING COUNTRY WITHIN 6 MONTHS FROM INDIA...
