City center out of reach!
What happened to city center yesterday?
there was a queue about 500m on all entrances, and it was not moving at all!!
I'm going to skip city center during weekend, if this is the case. I think they have to rethink their stratigy on parking. Did anyone manage to get in to city center yesterday? I went to Villageo in the end, and almost had to do a fist fight with another driver to get a parking spot there as well!
I think it is best to stay at home during the weekend these days..
The posh entrance is for posh people in posh cars.
I don't understand why people don't park round the back of villagio, near the 'posh' entrance.Always somewhere to park there and most of the time under cover
Because they prepare to welcome ramadan, I went to hyatt at around 3pm not much people and I saw 1 family with 3 cars only for food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was there yesterday. Saw the queue and exited to park outside. I cannot understand why people would sit in the queue for ages.
design. Very confusing and don't even think of spoon-feeding those infos you want! Lol!
Yes, the cars had lined up at all the entrance because the toll ticket machine would issue a ticket as and when a parking space becomes vacant. Yesterday the parking at C ity centre was full, and the cars had to wait until they receive the parking tickets from the ticket vending machine.
One of my observations were, the sensors fixed for identifying the vacant parking spAce were on the groundfloor parking level and not on the upper floor parking. Secondly, the tickets from the vending machine does not mention, which is the vacant parking spAce, nor is there any screen mentioning the same at the entrance. How is a customer supposed to know where he is to park his car, on a busy day like yesterday?
..yes, the lines were really long last night..it seems a lot of people don't mind the parking fees anyway..we ended up eating at fuddruckers nearby...
yes, city center due to the testing of pay parking scheme we observed that their toll gate sometimes will not open even you push 4 times.villagio also the same, we witnessed some drivers going out of their vehicles shouting even to the extent of slightly kissing each other face.lol
the best thing is avoid these place during holidays.you"re right.
This is the weekend just beginning of Ramadan, residents are preparing to welcome Ramadan. You can see samething today also in any shopping centre in Doha
