Does anyone know a local butcher in Jaidah Flyover or Mansoura/Najma areas who may be able to supply me with a fresh cow's heart. It's for feeding my discus fish!
Hope someone can help
Many thanks
Hello all and thanks for the (sometimes) helpful suggestions. Aqua Art don't sell frozen beefheart mix (which is recognized the world over as an excellent source or protein and when mixed with fish/prawns/spinach/garlic etc) forms an excellent source of food.
I already made some with Lambs heart, but not much left after removing all the fat etc so it doesn't last long.
Goto salwa road, there is a fish store called aqua, I feed our discus, discus food. Also, I wonder why you would serve discus some beef hearts? Are you trying to win a medal for bodybuilding the discus fish?? Anyways, good luck. Proper food will make the fish happy.
I was watching National Geographic channel when I saw a big Goonch Catfish which is a mutated fish found rivers in the India-Nepal border that has been known to prey on human victims!
there's a well known butcher's called zamalik butchery in both najma and mansoura..two shops very close by..you can try them..one is straight from the small roundabout after gulf cinema going towards najma..you will see it on your right side..just before and near some big indian restaurant..and then if you turn left from the next signal and keep going towards mansoura/muntaza, you'll see another bigger zamalik shop on your right again.. and i like how you mentioned what its for..saves you loads of trouble with all the curious questions instead of answers:-)

Why do you feed your discus fish with cow's heart? Are they eating only cow's heart? You can give them frozen shrimps.
