Gait analysis in Doha
Does anyone know of where/if I can get gait analysis done in Doha including pronation.
Where can I get asics shoes (kayano 16 ladies in particular). Or should I have them sent from the UK? Although I'd rather try them on first as I've got tendonitis and comfort and cushioning is of ultimate importance.
Thank you
thanks for your replies everyone!
Asics are sold in a small shoe shoe shop inside The Center.
Brooks are also good if you're looking for better foot/insole support.
If you've got hyperpronated foot, you will normally find that your shoes wear out more on the outside part..this can be corrected by wearing properly designed insoles.
A thorough assessment of your knees, hip and back may also be required. Gait analysis can be performed by any physiotherapist in Doha, but if you want a high tech assessment, Aspire might be offering one.
Well if they're as good as you say they are than I just might have to check them out as I'm loathe to go to the gym.
I've systematically combed the City Centre and all the sport shops are more or selling street trainers. And as a result of all that walking it's aggravated my heel pain :(
I guess it really depends on what you are looking for...Some styles aren't too good to look at,I agree! They make you walk correctly and you can feel the muscles working as you do.The first few times I wore mine,I knew it the next day! And I am fit,as I'm a fitness instructor! However,if it is running and aerobics,as you say, then they probably aren't the best footwear due to the balance issue involved! Hope that helps a bit, even if it didn't answer your original question!
I haven't they're not aesthetically pleasing exactly :) And they look too bulky for running and aerobics or do they have proper trainers as well?
Have you tried MBT trainers or sandals? They are truly fabulous to wear. My husband and I both wear them. Bought ours in Villagio.
I got my Asics at Olympic Sports on airport road
