I would like to know where exactly has grand joud Cafe moved to .. or have they yet to rellocate to a new place. it was a really nice shisha place .. not the best but it was good, too bad they do not give proper directions when they are asked to vaccate their numbers also are not reachable.
Grand Joud shifted pretty much across the street next to club Cube where La verenda Cafe used to be. If ur coming down Salwa Rd. pass the Ramada intersection and take the first turn to the right and u'll find it about 100m in on the right side before u get to Cube.
The place itself is not as nice and has no windows, but the menu and shishas r the same and it's open around the clock as well. At first I didnt like the new place but soon I adjusted and now Im a regular again...hope this helps
hey thanks for the responses mates, I have experienced the same ... but it escalated where the waiter in anger just turned and did not realise the shisha was at the side and drop it on one of my friends and her bag had holes in them and then they gave us 500 riyals in cash as compensation .. lol
But anywayz ... seriously you'll have no idea where they have shifted too??? and about this Layali fayrouz place gtrman can you tell me where about it is located .. i love trying new shisha places where men and women can go ... if you know of any good places could you be kind enough to share thanks ...

well buddy there are alot better places to go then those guys....
as the respondent before me said, the service there was really bad and unprofessional and those waiters only catered to well to do clients who were of a certain type of nationality
my first and only time i went to them, was really bad and i had a heated argument with the staff there......
seriuosly if u dont wear a thob or move along with hordes of women tht place is hopeless!!!
theres a new one called layali feyrooz... check tht one out...
A number of their menu items was fine. However, they have some rude staff memebers there. I remember this supervisor waiter (the ones with black suites) who was very rude, had a debate with me and my friend, then eventually had other debate with other customers. But the problem is that when we asked him to call up his supervisor (probably the branch manager), his supervisor was even ruder, so we just left that day. But anyways it was a nice place to hand out at.
Sorry I didn't answer your question but you just reminded me of this cafe, especially that I have now left Qatar and am, basically, missing it :)
