register your credit/debit card with paypal, they'll charge you $1, but as soon as you "confirm/register" your card, they'll give it back to you. then you can order already. just make sure you order from sellers with good feedback. i've ordered some parts for my car too from US and hongkong.happy shopping!

Yes, I use eBay for car spare parts, just about to order some from Taiwan.

I have a UK eBay account which I'v had for several years before moving out to the ME. Double check with the seller that they will post to the ME, as some will only post to their domestic country.

Which eBay will you be using, .com or .co.uk or others?

PayPal is generally a good system, you set up the account with them and register an account, and then when you buy something, you don't need to enter in your credit card details, you just enter in your PayPal info, which in theory is safer and more secure, as your CC details are not being transmitted.

PayPal also allows you to use a bank account from which to make payments, but as mine were all set up in the UK, I don't know how they will work from setting up accounts in the ME.
