Motorbikes
Although I'm aware of the risks of riding a motorcycle here in doha, but it has been my passion to ride one. The perks of having a driver doesnt give me the trills when i'm on a bike. So, is there any major bike dealers (prefably big cc bikes from either honda, yamaha or bmw) here in doha? Or is there any 2nd hand dealership....??
If given an option, i'd prefer an enduro bike/off road bike. Is there honda's yrv750 Äfrican Twin or bmw's GS here in doha. I've never seen 1 here before... sigh. Or just a yamaha's yz or honda's cr (or equivelent) is fine with me.
I saw some honda's cbr1000rr, suzuki gsxr1000 and some harleys around city centre/corniche area. But i didnt have the opportunity to stop and ask.
I greatly appreciate your help. Thanks
I would suggest you to look for a bike over the Internet I'm sure that you will find a good place in you nearby surrounding where you can get a bike from. The search over the Internet has just got better and better with the passing of time.
is there any supermoto bikes for sale in qatar?
im lookin for a supermoto crf450x or ktm450..
I am pretty sure that the bike is not insured. We spoke to the Honda sales rep about insurance...he said it was only 150 QR a year, which I assume means that it is just in case you hit someone. The dealers will know about how insurance works.
My husband has been looking for a bike, and we have done a bit of investigating. There is a Honda dealership on Salwa Road. If you are coming from Ramada Junction, it will be on the left side of the road, after Decoration Roundabout. It is next to the Turkish Delight Store. There is a Suzuki bike dealership right near the Airport on Airport Road, between C-Ring and D-Ring. There are also a few smaller dealerships throughout the city. Please post if you find any interesting spots for second-hand bikes. There is also a Harley dealership on D-Ring, right near the airport.
Thank you darlin :)
Hi Munozchick...I must say that i'm impressed with all your info you really are a person in the know....I appreciate people that have various interests and can engage in many topics simultaneously...anyway...keep it real
It was 39,000 QR not $....by the way there is a new bike store near the American Embassy...not sure if they sell bikes but they have accessories for bikes as well as apparel like Alpinestar. Even if they don't sell bikes, they may know of a good deal on one.
So i guess the only dealership i can get here is on BM's and Kawa's? Honda has a great line of off road bikes, KTM too. Especially off road bikes thats great for the dunes... :)
Btw, thanks e46m3
Back home in singapore, i can get a good 2nd hand busa 2004 for for only S$15k... or approximately QaR30k....
So i assume that the prices here are not as low as i though as car would fetch me.
I've seen a second hand 2004 Busa for 39k....to me, thats alot for second hand. Even if it is a 1300. Especially since alot of the second hand bikes have been put down.
how much is it around for the 2nd hand 1000 cc motorbike ?
thank you
My husband has a Ninja in the States. Not sure on the insurance thing. Sorry.
Thanks for the info, will go and check it out, its for my nephew. He has experience driving Kawasaki Ninja's and will be here in Qatar for a year.
By the way, do you get full insurance on these monsters here in Qatar. I heard you cannot get full insurance for sports cars, does the same apply for Bikes???/
Have you ever driven a 1000 before? If not, I suggest something smaller. Anyway, for second hand bikes, try Dreamteam on Airport road. If you're driving toward Wakra, go through the old Parachute R/A and its the first shop in that shopping center on the right. They're great. They have dirt bikes sometimes. There is also a place after Shoprite called the Mechanical Clinic. There is a Kawasaki dealership being built in Wakra. Should be up soon.
Does Anybody know of a good Second hand motorbike shop in Doha for Street & dirt bikes ????
Al Fardan for the BMW.
They have what you need or can get it for you.
