On Salwa road where the veg & fish market is, you will find plenty of nurseries selling plants and clay pots.

Vast collection all are locally grown and its worth going there.

Taqwa is the most valuable fruit of fasting. Just as plants have their own season of flowering, so Ramadan is the season of the year, for blossoming of goodness, virtue and piety of the Muslim Ummah (nation). Not one, but millions of people jointly water

Pass Qatar Foundation on your left heading out of town (heading the opposite way will take you into town to the R/A at the General Post office).

Stay on this road until your destination after you pass Qatar Foundation. A big landmark on your left is HH the Emir's palace estate on the left. After you pass this estate of palaces you go on for 5 mins or so and BEFORE the next R/A (which is at a small town called Shahaniya) you will see a billboard/big sign on the right which says 'Qatari Arab Agricultural.....blah...blah'or something close to that. That is the place!

Clear as mud?!

Seriously, they have really fresh produce and also some flowers.

Good luck!

Thanks for the details about the farm ...

Can anybody give 'better' directions as it is so easy to get lost silly trying to find somewhere. I've been past QF (Slope Roundabout) a few times but don't remember any 'Farm This Way' signs :D

Thanks in advance ....

There is a huge farm past Qatar Fundation past the Wajba round about keep going straight. You'll see it to your right can't miss it! They have a large variety of indoor and outdoor plants. They are government run so the prices are cheap.

Cheers!
