Where best to get...

...rugs(persian, afghan, local)? Not looking for anything out of the ordinary, but don't want to get ripped off at some mall if at all possible - is there any local area/place/shop that people can recommend? Don't mind spending a bit on something that is good quality (although I have no idea what that means, so any pointers on price also appreciated!) as will look to take it with me when I eventually move on.
there is a shop at the Center round about next to the Doha grand hotel close to Fiat/Aston Martin showroom.chk it out there.
I THINK DOHA CITY IS VERY EPENSIVE U CN TRY IN RAMEEZ ITS CHEP AND BEST.
i think u can try Doha city near salata round about opposite to hamad orthopedic centre. There i have seen lot of carpets, rugs etc. but for the quality aspect you will have to go in person and take a look....!!!
The "quality" of a carpet is measured in 'knots per square-inch.' The more knots, the higher the quality. And, of course, it's the material itself.
