Following this thread and others on QL, I decided to drive there and see if I can find it (OK, didn't have much today on a Fri).

Heading towards Dukhan from the Tilted R/W, once you pass Qatar Foundation, you need to go roughly about 20 more KM, it was not bad of a drive actually.

The exact Google Earth Coordinates for the place are: 25°22'18.10"N 51°14'21.92"E (currently map on Google Earth map is not up-to-date, construction is completed).

Unfortunately it was closed when I got there, so I cannot comment on prices or what they have. They are open Sat-Thur from 5:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and from 3:00 PM -5:00 PM. Friday till 9:00 only.

Now that you have the coordinates and roughly where it is, you can navigate your way to find it. You won't be able to spot it easily from the main road.

Hope this helps another soul.

From Oryx roundabout take the street that goes direction Education city and keep going straight direction Dunkhan. Drive for about 20 min until you reach a croassroad where on the left you see a property sourrounded by walls and the entrance looks like a fort or a castle. The plant shop is on the opposite site of the main street, so from the main street just turn right. There's a huge plant shop there, but you don't even notice it from the street so pay attention to the castle/fort property otherwise you miss it. Prices are much cheaper then shops in Doha.

I would recommend you go to the area near the fish market & vegetable souq. There are many garden centres there. One after the other. Check them all out first as there is a variety of prices. Also in the Omani souq they have plants, maybe more variety, but more expensive.

How to get there? Go from Qatar Decoration round about towards Midmac. Go immediately onto the slip road and turn in to the street behind Bukhanan furniture.

There is one located near Family Food Center next to the Airport. its quite cheap and certainly a varity of plants to buy (Both, indoor & outdoor) along with pots, fertilizers, garden accessories etc. Its located on a open ground which has a see through tent put up and all the plants are kept within the tent. The exact location would be like taking the road behind FFC, a small, hardly 200m drive, the last right(If u take the last left, u wud reach the main road tht would lead you all the way to Al Wakra) on tht road and towards ur left you would get 2 c the tent (Green in color).

GO GREEN..!!!
